Frequently Asked Questions
Q What is the inspiration behind the Game of Archery?
Our Archery game is inspired by the classic PC shareware game "Bow & Arrow" released in 1992 by John Di Troia. It captured players with its simple yet addictive projectile physics and target shooting progression.
Q How are points calculated in Level 3 (Archery Target)?
Points are awarded based on which concentric circle the arrow tip pierces: Gold (Center/Bullseye) is 50 points, Red is 40 points, Blue is 30 points, Black is 20 points, and White (Outer ring) is 10 points. Missing the target yields 0 points.
Q How do I recover health in Level 4 (Creature Attack)?
In the classic arcade settings, lives do not regenerate. You start Level 4 with a max of 3 lives (health points). Every time a flying creature manages to fly past your defenses and make contact, you lose 1 life. The level ends immediately if you lose all 3 lives.
Q Why do my arrows sometimes fly slower or faster?
In the Drag & Release control mode, the speed of the arrow is directly proportional to how far back you drag the bow string. In Mouse and Keyboard mode, arrow speeds are fixed per level and modified by the difficulty setting you selected.
Q Does the game support saving my high scores?
Yes! The console reads and writes your highest score to your browser local storage, meaning your historical high score is safely saved and loaded when you return to play.
